Lucky Seven

The number 7 is often considered lucky, carrying a definite mystique across numerology, religion, and philosophy.

For me, September 1st marks the 7-year anniversary of becoming an entrepreneur. On that day in 2019, I turned a need into a new opportunity. Due to a changing landscape in IKEA Real Estate, Expansion, and Establishment, I decided that leaving the safety of traditional employment was the best way to continue doing what I do best: delivering expert knowledge in interior design, visual merchandising, concept development, brand identity, and project management.

Over these years, I've partnered with diverse project teams across many countries, including India, France, Sweden, Italy, China, South Korea, New Zealand, the US, Switzerland, Poland, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Romania, Finland, and Norway. My portfolio now includes over 80 projects, ranging from commercial planning and project management support for new Standard IKEA stores, store remodelings, space optimization, Small and Compact stores.

Now, as the Retail Area New Business & Expansion at Ingka undergoes another reorganization, I find myself at a similar crossroads. On September 1st of this year, my consulting assignment as Establishment specialist at CPHub will conclude. As with any change, new opportunities arise. Perhaps this one will bring me back to the shop floor to help plan and implement your IKEA store. After three years of remote work, I definitely have the energy and enthusiasm for that. Time will tell.
